Description

The molecules of water consisting of two hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen are shown within a water droplet. This art piece demonstrates the power of the units to unity concept where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Artistically the water droplet is impregnated with an unending stream of molecules of water. Under the forces of gravity and the consequence of accumulation of many molecules, the drop assumes a pear shape of pregnancy and will give rise to future generations of droplets which will be the source of clouds, oceans and rivers … and of course fertile and necessary for the beginning of and sustenance for life.

The blue and white colors provide a sense of purity and the pyriform shape defines wholesomeness. Blue is symbolic of water, and the white of purity. The oceans of the earth contain the blue waters and dynamic waves of white. The open top of the drop receiving molecular “seeds” and open bottom that will give rise to future generations have similar structure and events in all of biology.

The entering water molecule has a simple youthfulness, but as it gets incorporated into the community, it grows in many ways and looks more wholesome in the community of water even though everything about it chemically and physically is the same. This is also the story of individuals in a productive and wholesome society.
