Description

The story begins… a long, long, time ago.  In the beginning there was a void of perfect and absolute Oneness……..and ever since then we are driven to pursue this silent and all powerful Oneness both consciously and unconsciously.

Philosophically the beginning was already there with a silent perfection since something cannot come from nothing. Dr. Davidoff has chosen to call this true and absolute Oneness.  For some this is God, for others it is the laws of nature, or an energy, and yet others have no need to explain it at all.

Artistically the genre of the art is described as minimalism.  The simple black sphere contains deep and dark age old questions but also provides light and insight to the darkness.  The color black was chosen since it reflects a mysterious purity.  The sphere was chosen since it is a shape that represents compact wholeness on the one hand but it also has an innate sense of unity and infinity.

This art piece combines science and religion .
