Description

The X-ray of the fractured bone in the background resulted in severe displacement with the two fragments creating the cross of the “skull and cross bone”  The skull is a reconstructed CT scan.  Culturally there  are many inferences for  this image including, death, poison, piracy and for some the complete opposite inferring life.

Artistically the orange color of the skull dominates the piece – though  the foreboding X-ray of the fracture is still obvious in the background.
