“The Handshake” 

shows hands   held together with an understanding of trust.   2015 was not an easy year which witnessed and experienced senseless killing. Morality and honesty among leaders of the world was turned on its head.  The handshake is the prerequisite for beginning the New Year.  It infers a commitment by two parties to create something better.  However it needs trustworthy partners on either side.    The basis has to be mutual respect for life, abhorrence for killing of innocent people with cowardly acts, and a dedication to the truth.  In 2016 we pray for leadership with commitment to common decency without double standards.  We hope that sanity and not hatred rules.  

A trustworthy relationship between the leaders who put life, and truth above political and economic motives is needed for the New Year of 2016.
