“Good Gene Bad Gene – Luck of the Draw” shows the a normal nucleus associated with a thumbs up – “good genes”

A bad gene is an unlucky break, a disease, or a bad personality trait, a predisposition to an addiction is shown with a thumbs down.

The nucleus is central to activities of the cell (images).  When all the complex components are in order there is health, and small aberrancies in the genes can lead to miserable diseases.

The end result of a person’s life is of course a combination a nature (the genes) and nurture.

Artistically  surrealism and spherism is used provide the idea of too extreme states of health on the one hand and genetically based disease on the other.
