Description

The 3D reconstruction of a CT scan of the wrist shows the carpal bones and the tubular form of the metacarpals.

Artistically the hand shows  power despite the lack of fingers.  It frees itself from the canvas as it burst forward and upward.  The soft tissues have a delicate appearance and the whole image is softened by the salmon pink color.  The ambivalence of the delicate mixed with power and strength is present.
